Work at the Institute

The Institute is dedicated to clinical research into cardiovascular diseases with a special focus on patient-oriented and applied clinical research.
The Institute is concerned with the entire clinical spectrum of the department, in particular with the prevention, genesis and therapy of cardiovascular diseases such as acute and chronic coronary syndrome, heart failure and cardiac arrhythmia. Other points of focus are cardiac imaging with echocardiography, coronary CT, cardiac MRI and intensive care aspects of clinical cardiology such as cardiogenic shock.
