Arbeit am Institut
Die wissenschaftliche Orientierung des Instituts liegt in den Kernkompetenzen Angiologie und kardiale Elektrophysiologie als Subspezialitäten der Kardiologie und der gesamten Inneren Medizin.
Durch logistisch einfache Kooperationsmöglichkeit mit dem Landesklinikum Thermenregion Baden ist eine klinische Forschungstätigkeit in einer der am dichtesten besiedelten Regionen Österreichs in diesen Bereichen sinnvoll.
Die Aufgabe des Instituts für Angiologie und kardiale Elektrophysiologie liegt darin, die Erforschung pathophysiologischer Berührungspunkte dieser Teilbereiche der Inneren Medizin in Kooperation mit nationalen und internationalen universitären Einrichtungen zu fördern und weiter auszubauen.
